Didn’t want to choose the book it was based on. Same with Melissa Harris Perry or Colbert Report, wanted to give something different. But grgood point!
This is pretty cool. Can I request an off shoot to The Walking Dead…? Zone One by Colson Whitehead!! TERRIFIC ZOMBIE APOCALYPTIC NOVEL!
Ha! Zone One was originally on the list…mind reader! Ok, that definitely owrk.s Any more?
Did y’all like Zone One. I couldn’t finish it and I wanted Mark Spitz to die so he could be interesting.

The dork in me got all excited when I saw this link on Twitter. This was truly dope. I’ve read a few of the books on this list. Very very nice list.
Hey, you gotta let your dork flag fly, yo! No shame over here
Great mapping! I’ve actually read most of the ABG reading list…
oooooh, then that means we’ve got to get you some more books young lady
Good list! I’ve read a lot of these and I have to clear my plate before I tackle Marble’s Malcolm X tome.
I think we had a discussion about Zone One on Twitter, Wu. I felt the same way, so I couldnt in good conscience put it on the list without really liking or knowing anyone that really liked it, but I’m willing to give it another go!
